What can ultrasound do in the post Covid 19 recovery periods?

What Corona Virus may attack is not that simple as we observe. Besides the lung, other organs such as the heart, liver, and kidney could also be targeted. The damage that imposes on the patients can last even longer than the disease itself.

According to a recent study published in JAMA, 44% of cured patients in the experiment group recorded worsen living quality within 60 days after the discharge. Dyspnea, fatigue, and other organ-relative damages continuously affect patients within a half year after recovering from Covid-19 infection.

To better monitor and manage patient recovery, ultrasound can be the optimal choice.

Previous research has shown that the pathogenicity of Covid-19 is highly similar to MERS, which could cause acute myocarditis or heart failure. Simple and effective cardiac ultrasound such as Auto SG and Auto EF can provide in-time cardiac assessment and observation even after discharge.

The non-invasive and repeatable ultrasound examination enables effective monitoring and record on therapy. Comprehensive application on different organs can make routine examinations more productive.
